   MISSION STATEMENT

Matthew 25:35-40

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:   36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.   37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?   38-39 When saw we thee...in prison, and came unto thee?   40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (KJV)

STAFF TESTIMONY
What a privilege to serve on the Shepherd Staff of the First Apostolic Church.  I have been serving for over 2 years with a great group of people who have a burden for the Jail Ministry.  During this time I have witnessed several water baptisms.  There  is something special about seeing an inmate go down in the Name of Jesus Christ!!  All we use is a humble horse trough, but seeing the change on the faces of those inmates make that humble horse trough a great beginning.  Many say they feel a freedom and their faces show that freedom.  I wouldn't trade that experience for all the tea in China!!!  They are so thankful!   But they don't know how blessed we feel just being there.  Even though we are there to minister to them, a lot of times they minister to us.  If you are looking for something that is so rewarding, come join Shepherd Staff and watch God bless your life.

Sincerely,

Michelle
